The aim of the project “Joint Working Group of Civil Society Organizations in the Republic of Moldova and Romania to promote the transparent and sustainable public administration reform in the EU neighborhood”, funded by the Dutch Embassy in Bucharest, is to contribute to central public administration reform by ensuring transparency, accountability and involvement in setting priorities.
In the short term, the project aims to achieve a model of public participation, as a prerequisite for setting priorities in the reform of central government in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, and to promote transparency and accountability in the implementation of government reform central public. This goal will be achieved through research and the elaboration of two evaluation reports and two Civil Service Barometers, which will be disseminated among shareholders. In the long term, the elaborated public policy proposal, accompanied by related advocacy efforts, will contribute to the implementation of modern and efficient human resources policies, in order to bring the reform of the public sector in line with EU standards.
